Hands2hugs Story

Welcome! My name is Bernadette, and I am the founder of Hands2Hugs. I started in 2021 during the pandemic. It was a challenging time for everyone, and I was looking for a way to channel my creativity and passion into something positive. As I looked around, I was inspired by my talented friends who had turned their hobbies into small businesses.

I have been crocheting for 22 years, and it has always been something I enjoyed doing. I love the way that the simple act of crocheting can transform a ball of yarn into something beautiful and meaningful. As a mother of two young girls, I was also drawn to children's fashion and the illustrations in children's books. I decided to combine these passions and create hand-crocheted stuffed animals that would bring joy and comfort to children of all ages.​​

In late 2023, I took a leap of faith and trained a small team of crocheters to join me in my venture. Together, we have created a range of unique and delightful stuffed animals that are made with love and care. We are take pride in every stitch we make.
